Today we going to write down the tutorial of making greentea/matcha hard serve ice cream.
How to make easy ice cream at home under 15 minutes – 2020 August Updated Version
Ingredients:
Preparation Tools:
- 2L Plastic Container with Lid/Cover ( 3cm – 5cm thickness, Can last in the freezer and won’t cracking )
- Egg Beater Machine( Automatic )
- Clear Plastic Food Wrapper (Polyethylene Wrap)
- 500g of Rasa Royal Soft Serve Ice Cream Powder
- 1250ml of Cold Water OR 1L UHT Full Cream Milk
- Greentea Powder 40g
Instructions:
Tutorial For Ice Cream Powder 500G Pack ( Rasa Royal Original Milky Flavour)
- Get a big bowl that can fit 2L of liquid.
- Pour 1250ml Cold Water OR 1L UHT Full Cream Milk into big bowl, after that add RasaRoyal ice cream powder 500g into the big bowl.
- Use egg-beater machine to blend it nicely. Make sure all the powder melt with the cold water/milk. The blending process must take a minimum of 10minutes.
- You got the Ice Cream Mixture now.
- This is the milky base for your ice cream. You can add any POWDER FORM ( Matcha Powder, Cocoa Powder, Raspberry Powder, etc ) into the ice cream mixture.
- Here we take 40g GreenTea Powder as an example:
- Add 40g of GreenTea Powder into the ice cream mixture.
- Blend it with Egg-Beater machine. The bleeding process must take a minimum of 10minutes.
- Pour into a plastic container and cover the mixture surface with the Clear Plastic Food Wrapper (plastic must touch with the surface to prevent crystallize) and close tight with the cover
- Put into the freezer for 3 hours
- After 3 hours take out and use the Egg Beater Machine to blend it again for the other 10minutes.
- You can repeat Step 10 & 11 for 2 times for better result and texture.
- Done.
Tips 1: You may remove the little bubble on top layer of the container, it will look great for your finish product.
Tip 2: You can use 1L UHT Full Cream Milk to replace 1250ML Cold Water. Milk can provide more silky, less icy texture on your end result.

- 接着准备40G绿茶粉,倒入冰淇淋液体内,再使用自动打蛋器进行搅拌10分钟(不管粉末溶解与否请持续10分钟的搅拌)
- 倒入您所准备的塑料容器,你能用筛网过滤泡沫,然后使用保鲜膜覆盖在绿茶冰淇淋的表面,盖上盖子,放入结冰柜。
- 在放进冰箱结冻柜的第3个小时,拿出来用打蛋器再打发多一次。(这个步骤是进行膨化作用,让冰淇淋更加蓬松),请持续10分钟的搅拌
- 当你完成膨化动作后,把冰淇淋在容器内铺平,再次盖上保鲜膜(避免表面产生结晶),再盖上盖子(避免冰淇淋吸收其他冷冻食品的味道),
- 你能重复2次步骤8跟9.膨化可以让冰淇淋口感更加棒!
- 进行隔夜冷冻,完成!
这里分享几个小技巧
1250ML的冷水,可以使用UHT FULL CREAM MILK取代,一般1L的价格在AEON超市是RM5令吉上下。牛奶我们建议使用1L即可。牛奶跟水的成品差别在牛奶制作的冰淇淋效果较细滑,冰颗粒口感没有那么强烈。
膨化步骤主要是在冰淇淋结冰的过程我们强制冰淇淋进行“呼吸”,将冰淇淋的体积膨化变蓬松
打蛋器是一般家庭都能取得的厨房用具,我们强烈建议放长时间来进行搅拌,在搅拌过程会产生大量的泡沫在表面,如果你要完美的冰淇淋表面,在您倒入容器前,你能用隔网过滤掉泡沫即可,或者用汤匙捞起即可。
由于每个人所准备的容器不同,我们都建议以下几点,一定要在液体表面盖上一层保鲜膜,保鲜膜主要是达到隔离空气的作用。如果没有盖上保鲜膜,冰淇淋长时间的冷冻过程会在表面产生结晶体,所以保鲜膜可以有效的隔离冷空气。
隔夜冷冻效果最佳。
